---------------- What is Celsius and Fahrenheit?
In 1714, a German scientist named Gabriel Fahrenheit came up with a unit of measurement for temperature. Thirty years later, a Sweedish scientist named Anders Celsius used the properties of water to define his unit of measurement. At 0°C water freezes into ice, and at 100°C water turns into steam.

°C °F
